What’s better than laughing? Laughing a lot! You’ll do just that with back-to-back weekend shows featuring two different headliners and supporting stand-ups as comedy once more storms the Lemon Bay Playhouse stage. 

Headliner Scott Novotny – Scott, former writer for Saturday Night Live, and on-line Drybar comedy performer, tops the bill on Saturday. He appears regularly at Sarasota’s McCurdy’s Comedy Theater & in his own production with fellow comics John Carfi and Bill Burr in “The World According to AARP.”

Harley Worthit – Harley performed in Branson, Missouri for 29 years with the Presleys’, Jim Stafford, Mickey Gilley, Pam Tillis and Pierce Arrow. His latest comedy home before moving here? The Pigeon Forge TN Comedy Barn, the best attended family-friendly comedy venue in the US.

Wendi Scianna – A seasoned actress on the Lemon Bay Playhouse stage, Wendi began and aced stand up classes. She’s delighted audiences at McCurdy’s, Venice Theatre, and Visani’s. Now she brings her comedy full circle back to Lemon Bay Playhouse!

Torey Adkins – An actor/comedian originally from Chicago, Torey has appeared in films with Hugh Jackman and Aziz Ansari, opened for Lewis Black and Chris Titus, and cut his comedy teeth at Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle in metro Detroit.

Lynn Lane – Lynn won the 2018 Sarasota McCurdy’s Comedy Club open mic competition, was a finalist in the 2017 Visani’s Comedy Zone, Port Charlotte, First Comic Standing event and aced Visani’s Got Talent in 2018. Funny is her business!
