For nearly five decades, Alan Kitty has presented a Mark Twain performance based on the author’s journals, autobiography, life, work and times.

The current version of his solo work begins as an autobiographical sketch that invites audience participation— and there’s no telling where the show can go from there!

Alan Kitty has been interpreting Mark Twain on stage and in film since 1979. His solo performances have toured the US since 2000. During that period, he has also written numerous stage adaptations based on Twain’s work and lectured on his writing.

Past and planned productions of Alan’s work include:

Mark Twain is Alive and Well
The Spirit of Giving
The Yesterday Show
Original Sin (Diaries of Adam and Eve)
They Told Me to be Brief
A Virtual Yankee
Mark Twain Tells All.
