Dear Santa – Fundraiser
December 4, 2018; 7:30pm
SPECIAL BENEFIT PERFORMANCE FOR NEW PARADIGM OF CATHOLIC CHARITIES TRANSITIONAL HOUSING PROGRAM
Bring the entire family for a fun evening of entertainment, pictures with Santa, and goodie bags for the kids.
Santa Claus tries to fulfill a child’s special Christmas wish while his staff attempts to overcome a supply shortage at the North Pole. This is a laugh-filled holiday play innocent enough for the youngest boy or girl, and entertaining enough for adults.
The Lemon Bay Playhouse added this extra performance as a fundraiser for New Paradigm of Catholic Charities Transitional Housing Program. Lemon Bay Playhouse, the actors, and the volunteers are donating the facility and their time for this one night performance of this play.
All proceeds from this evening’s special benefit performance of “Dear Santa” will benefit New Paradigm of Catholic Charities Transitional Housing Program. New Paradigm provides affordable, transitional housing to area families who are at risk of becoming homeless. The two-year program is designed to help families develop the skills necessary to live an independent life through case management, financial training, credit repair services, counseling and parenting classes.
The “Christmas Card” photo has been chosen for “Dear Santa” our Holiday Season show. The cast takes the time to pose with the Director and Stage Manager. Pictured seated (left to right) are Kathi Faulkner (Octavia), Daniel Cole (Santa), and Cheryl Hastings (Lulu Flapdoodle and Stage Manager). Standing (left to right) are Henry Reisinger, Jr. (Bozidar), Bob La Salle (Director), Mike Levasseur (Algernon), and Alisia Perez (Kit).
