Bob La Salle Tech Room

Long time volunteer Bob La Salle honored with name on Tech Room

Bob La Salle has dedicated the last 19 years of his life to Lemon Bay Playhouse.  He has put in 1,000 to 1,500 hours a year as a volunteer. He was responsible for the addition of two of the storage sheds and acquisition of the Annex (the second building where rehearsals happen during the run of the show). The acquisition helped to enable Lemon Bay Playhouse to go from a six production season to a seven production season.  He spearheaded the building of the Tech booth and the addition of a new sound system and more lights. He helped build almost every set since 2004, and has been running tech since 2005 for virtually every show. On April 2, 2023, Pam Hayes, President of the Board of Trustees, presented Bob with a new plaque naming the Tech Room after him for all of his years of service to Lemon Bay Playhouse. Bob will still be continuing to volunteer at Lemon Bay Playhouse and working in the room that is named after him.
